these were yummmmmy....thanks to our honorary roommate, we made some pumpkin cupcakes with her amazing recipe..they were sooo yummy. we put cream cheese frosting on top of it and it just made it perfect :)

ok so im really excited for halloween. i love dressing up ridiculously. its a great day to just be completely obnoxious :).

christmas in my mouth

yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...i def need to make these again. these are cinnamon sugar hawaiian sweet rolls with cream cheese frosting on them. yummy yummy in my tummy!
these are really easy to make:
u need,

spreadable butter, cinnamon, sugar, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and the hawaiian sweet rolls.
sorry i dont use exact measurements..but i just basically mixed the butter with the cinnamon and sugar and then spread it on top. sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on top, and then put it in the toaster oven and toasted it until the edges were a little toasty and then we made the cream cheese frosting with a generic recipe online. it said that we needed a electrical mixer, but we did it by hand and it turned out fine. we then proceeded to frost the buns and put em back in for just a little bit to melt the frosting a bit...
and the result....christmas in our mouths....yummmmmmmm

tacky shoes?

these were really easy to do and i made these with about 200 thumbtacks.



so remember my previous posts about using thumbtacks to stud shoes? well i finally did them!! i REALLY like these black nikes and i got bored before class so i studded my shoes with thumbtacks. they might be considered tacky (hehe) but...i love them....they look pretty cool..i must say in the most tacky way. (ok ill stop with the tack jokes...)

rain rain go away

so....i just kept going on and on with the previous spray paint...and i kinda like it. it kind of is a clustermess..but...in that sense, i like it. I absolutely love spray painting, and it was cool to use all of my previous spray paints.

as it rains outside, the emo-ness in my comes out....

tiki bar madness!

my roomie's awesommme pink tool kit.


made this tiki bar from scratch. its pretty simple. you just need an old dresser, some wood, grass skirts, leis, and some bamboo. we didnt even use nails. we did it college style and used some good ole duct tape :)..

diy chanel!

i saw this striped tunic in the pajamas section at target and i loved it...but it was kinda plain so i put the chanel logo on it :)...i just used a sharpie to draw this on...nothing too fancy

gold studded belt

i loved the belt that sjp wore in the sex and the city movie...but i dont wanna dish out hundreds of bucks on something i know i can make. its a little different than her version, but i like the big gold studs.
basically, i used a yard of elastic that was 1.5 inches wide and then i used the 1 inch gold studs and just studded the length of my waist.

leather/lace

i love leather/lace combos, so i wanted to make a cropped shirt from the left over leather material that i had.....added a ruffle sleeve to one....not really sure how i feel about it. but i still like it nonetheless

remember those cool nike shoes?

bored from the drive from la to stanford, i used the leftover studs to stud these shoes...now i like EVEN more! i feel like i could have overstudded this, but i really like the subtly of the studs.
