air force oness!

before the madness begins...

i love arrows and i thought i would sharpie these in...but the black didnt really show up as black as i wanted them to be maybe ill make a stencil and spray paint it on...
haha couldnt resist...(if you all cant read that...it spells out mdubs aka my nickname since i-dunno-when)

i have an absolute obsession with Nike dunks and air force ones. i have an immense collection of sneakers (ill take pics sometimes and post em up) and the brighter and crazier they are, the more i love them. so i got these plain white air force ones, and spray painted/drew on them...they are for sure CRAZY and i have to practice spray painting shoes but i love them nonetheless.....

im in love with thrift stores....u never know what you find there and a good amount of my outfits are from thrift stores. you find cool, vintage stuff that you wouldnt find at a normal store, and plus you get to help out your local community by purchasing stuff from there. I found this white purse at a thrift store yesterday, and i wont lie...it was a bit grungy haha. But with a little bit of help from gems and a new chain, it looks good as new. and i LOVE it. :)

ring/bracelet thing

so i had one left over big gold stud and i didnt know what to do with it so i made a ring/bracelet thing. (dont know what to call it.)

so i connected it to a chain and then used the leftover chain from a bag and made a bracelet thing...pretty cool :)

best nike shoes ever!

these shoes ROCKKKKK....they are so comfortable and they look really different because of the cutout. kudos to nike for being so innovative and awesoommmme :)

t-shirt madness

so i bought 3 yards of this white t-shirt fabric for uber cheap so im kinda obsessed with making shirts...made the sad face (saw it online somewhere) with scrap denim that i had and then i made the shoulder fringe from scrap blue t-shirt fabric.

this is the first bag i madeeeee...i had this type of bag in a floral fabric, but i wanted something that looked tougher and a little bit like rock and roll...so i got some (fake) leather fabric and constructed this bag and studded it afterwards....love

bought my sewing machine!!

finally bought a sewing machine (yayyyy!!) and made this shirt from scratch..hahha....i have noooo idea how to make a shirt haha...but i really like the spray painted owl :)


got this denim shirt from a thrift store for a dolla and then i bleached it and put studs on it...love..
and i always wanted a zebra print-high waisted-pleated skirt, but never could find it..so i made it haha

saw this cat mask for a dollar at a store...couldnt resist..haha

so i lovvvve leopard print...want to make a leopard romper, leopard shorts, leopard dress...ideas are endless

my cousin showed me how to use a sewing machine last week and its sooo awesome! so with my new knowledge, we ran to the fabric store and got some fabric. i got some leather looking material, black jersery fabric, and zippperrs. so i made a dress... i feel like with this one, you can either wear it without anything inside and be uber sexy with the exposed skin, or you can layer it up..
the top part of the dress...i just cut out a strip that was wide enough to cover my boobies. and then i folded the corners to make the shape...pretty easy stuff
so i cut a rough pattern of what i wanted the skirt peice wanted to look like. i just eyeballed it. it was pretty easy to cut because the fabric was stretchy, making it forgiving. but when making the pattern, make it a little smaller than your measurements to make it tightttt

my new obsession

so i never used be into art or anything about art. i hated art class back in 7 and 8th grade and just dreaded going to that damn art class. but all of a sudden (i'm a junior in college), the artsy fartsy wheels have just begun to spin. I have all of a sudden been obsessed with drawing, painting, spray painting, and anything to do with diy. so here is my first post i guess about my stuff. I dont feel like any of this fit into any category. maybe they do and im just hopelessly clueless about this stuff but i hope u guys what i do. and if no one likes it...then...oh wells...i guess im truly just a black flamingo
