hehehe...you can see my beat cal boot....
So for the final game of the 2009 season where we played against Notre Dame, my best friend and I decided to make sweaters for the game! Was a pretty easy DIY after we decided exactly what to do. It took us about 2 hours to decide what color we wanted the sweater to be. We are probably the two most indecisive people EVER so choosing between grey, white, black, and red was probably the toughest decision that we had to make that day....hahahah...but im glad we used the red sweaters :)
we used stencils and fabric paint to write "stanford football", and we used a iron on sequin heart.
i would highly recommend that you iron on the heart before you paint on the words cuz we didnt know at the time how long it took for the fabric paint to dry! but steam and blowdrying it helps a bunch
end result=LOVE LOVE LOVE

Sometimes I envy students of Division 1 schools. I went to Widener U in Pennsylvania. It's a great school but it's Division 3, so it's kind of hard to get behind the athletic program.
ReplyDeleteIt's cool to have something like that. It should last you long after you're finished at school.
Cool beans, Michelle. Did many people ask where you bought them. It really looks like a professional job, not a homemade...
