i have an addiction...

to frozen yogurt!! maybe cuz its creamy, sweet, and cold? maybe cuz its the only type of dairy that i can eat? or maybe its cuz its just soooo awesome!!

anyways..i made another frozen yogurt pie..and it trumps the pumpkin pie!! the combo of strawberry and chocolate reminded me of the napoleon ice cream..its sooo good..kinda tart, kinda chocolatey, and the banana in the middle gives it a good kick :)

chocolate frozen yogurt:

1 cup non fat vanilla yogurt

2 tbs pure cocoa powder

1 tbs chocolate syrup

strawberry frozen yogurt:

1 cup non fat vanilla yogurt

1/4 cup strawberry jam

crust:

1/2 cup earth balance

3 tbs stevia

1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp dark molasses

and...1 banana :)

Directions:

1. preheat oven to 350

2. mix in all the crust ingredients and fold over till it becomes crumbly

3. spread out in pie tin

4. bake for 15 min or until golden

5. to make choc froyo: just mix in the cocoa powder, yogurt, and syrup together till it looks like pudding (you can also just chill this and us this as a chocolate pudding!!)

6. do the same for the strawberry yogurt

7. pour the chocolate yogurt into the pie crust

8. slice 1 banana and then line them up and lay them on top of choc yogurt

9. pour in the strawberry yogurt. you should have nice layers by now!

10. put in freezer..until it freezes

11. enjoy!!!
